Rally for State Trooper Shawn Blanton

July the 26, was a designated day rally for the state trooper Shawn Blanton. He was been on service since 2006 and was killed early of June at Canton intestate 40. He was only 23 years old.

One night he was on duty and was SHOT. He stopped a truck with an invalid tag plate and was driven by a chinese guy at interstate 40 at Canton North Carolina. The guy who shot him was a 35 years old Chinese man and from Florida.

This rally was for the bikers. Almost 300 bikers were there and showed their support and symphaty to the state trooper. There was a 25 dollars donation for his family and with a free t-shirt and b-b-q lunch. Me and my husband donated 50 dollars then. It was a ride from Swanannoah North Carolina to Cherokee NC. It was almost a 2 hour ride but it was fun. I enjoyed so much so as my husband. Though it was raining when we left our house it didn`t bother us at all and throughout the ride the rain stopped.
