Things to Know About Sleep

We all know that sleep is a way of resting our mind and body. Without sleep we die.

Well, it`s early morning of Wednesday of August 6. As we woke up early today my husband went outside our house to smoke as he always does and he saw a lighting and thunderstorm. So then he asked me to come online and check the weather forecast of today. As i then opened my web browser which is yahoo, i saw the latest news which is about the 5 things to know about sleep. I was so much interested to read it and since my husband is getting late to work i did look at the weather first and when he left i did read it right away.

We all know that when we have trouble in sleeping at night it`s called insomia. It`s not only at night it an also happens daytime when we feel tiredness, lack of energy
difficulty concentrating, and irritability. But no matter how hard for us to sleep, the best way is to relax our mind and lay down and so we can sleep. there are three types of insomia; transient insomia, intermittent insomia, and chronic insomia.

According to the news there are five ways to know about sleep;
1. Sleeping better than we think- for average americans they should get 7 hours
sleep a day but researchers said we should have
at least 8 hours a day.
2. Less sleep as we age.-this is really true. as we get older we dont need much
sleep.
3. Sleep like a baby-multiple sleep or not a long sleep night. For some reasons
sometimes we can`t sleep continously throughout the night
and this is very common to elderly.
4.Animals exhibit a range of sleep-animals' sleep time varies. However, latter
extreme is not recommended for humans.
5.Getting used to being tired-night's sleep is within the reach of most of us if we follow these guidelines:
-Go to bed at the same time nightly.
-Set aside enough time to hit that golden 7 hours of sleep.
-Refrain from caffeine, heavy or spicy foods, and alcohol and other

optional medications that might keep you awake, four to six hours
fore bed-time.
-Have a pre-sleep routine so you wind down before you hop in.
-Block out distracting lights and noises.
-Only engage in sleep and sex in bed (no TV-watching, reading or eating).
-Exercise regularly but not right before bed.

I hope this is a good guidelines for us to have a good sleep. Alright lets all follow this!!!
