Cooking- IT`S FUN AND EXCITING!

My recipe for lunch!!!

Chinese Chow Min

Hey you ask, what's so special about your husband`s or wive`s cooking?

Did u ever ask yourself if you are a good cook? Wll, for me I'm pretty comfident enough i may be good but not really perfect.

Many women are good cooks. Yes, that may be true! I can say my mother she used to cook good meal that until now I'm missing them huh!

In today's world, lucky are those man who can find a woman who can cook. And my husband so far is a good cook for he cooks everytime I ask him. He loves my cooking and all the foods i cook, from breakfast, lunch sometimes, dinner meals and up to dessert. And he`s really so lucky for `I Love Cooking'.

I considered myself a very lucky woman for this talent is God`s gift to me. Of course, we could also talk about the lucky man with a wife who loves to cook. But for now I'll keep the writing from mine or the husband's point of view.

It has often been said that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach. Well after many years of eating good meals at home, I finally have to admit that this old proverb applies to me. It's funny how what you thought were silly or unsubstantiated sayings of the past come back to you when you try to understand why things are the way they are.

Yes, I think so much more highly of myself, for the delicious meals that i unselfishly prepares. I do have great belief in that if a meal is prepared with love it is so much more nutritious than a meal that is prepared grudgingly. And as it is in our house as in most homes, the kitchen is the place where people

or the whole family congregate and eat what I lovingly prepares.

And you are blessed, or beyond lucky, if you can pick and harvest organic fruit, vegetables, and herbs from your own garden to use with your meals. I'm proud for I'm starting to harvest some fruits and spices from my lil garden.

For some, this may not be wishful thinking for some, for me it's a reality and I'm so grateful for it that I had to try to put my experiences into words and share a favorite meal or two.

Just today, i made a Chinese noodle for snack. It was not my first time to cook this but when i added more vegetables on it, it more delicious and i love it. Not only me but my husband too. He enjoyed eating it and also my father-in-law. It was cooked good the way it should be. Well, aside from the almost other-worldly great taste, it was also a taste of love-where there were all my love human ingredients, my care, which u can never get to any restaurant or food places.

Here are some ingredients of what i cook:

1 leaf of celery cut into cubes

at least 5 leaf of Chinese cabbage

3 or 4 bags of small rice vermicelli

1/2 lbs of cauliflower

1/4 lb of sliced carrots(straight cut)

1 small green pepper

1 small red pepper

half sliced of onion(cut)

4 cloves of garlic (minced)

3 tablespoons of olive oil

1/2 lbs of shrimp

4 tablespoon of soy sauce

1 tablespoon of salt

1/2 tablespoon of black ground pepper

Now, here`s the procedure. First, put the olive oil in a pan in a medium heat, when it gets hot put the garlic wait till it turns golden brown then put the onions. after 20 seconds put the shrimp, then stir for 1 minute then put all the vegetables except the cabbage. stir for a while then add the seasonings. When u think its ready add the cabbage, put in the big plate and serve. ENJOY EATING!
